Percy's POV
After what seemed like hours, I finally fell asleep. I didn't have a demigod dream, so something was fishy. Then a horn blew and the soldiers led us to a camp. "Wait here until night" one said. They slammed the door and locked it. We waited… and waited… then Dietrich grabbed us and led us up some steps to where the ark was located. He, the gay Nazi, and Clarisse were crowded around it. Clarisse was formally dressed, muttering a Hebrew curse. Then the Nazis opened the ark and Clarisse looked in it. "What is this? A joke?! You, Jackson, do you see any.." the lights and all power went out. "Don't look at it" Indiana said. "We must. We all must" I said. Then all these ghosts swooped out of it. "I'll handle this" Nico said. "At the command of Hades, stop". A beam of light erupted, for the spirits wouldn't listen. "Holy Zeus!" Annabeth said. "What is tha." A beam of light shot right through Annabeth and she fell to the ground. "Oh god. please no!" I said. "Anyone but her!" Her hands were clammy. "Percy…" she choked out. "I'll be waiting for you in Elysium. I guess this wasn't permanent." She fell to the ground. I must admit I was crying. I fell to the ground of exhaustion.
